My hognose snakes are picky eaters, and immediately started looking for food when I walked in the room with my new reptilinks. They eat them the second they see them.
We have a baby hog nose that would not eat pinky mce, alive or frozen thawed. He is just a baby and even the smallest mouse was just too big. This poor little guy had not eaten in almost 6 months. I got the mini and mini + for my juvenile hognoses to help vary their diets. All three ate them with no issue. I do recommend nicking open the case a bit the first time you offer the link so the scent is nice and strong.
I have been having some trouble getting my Western Hognose to eat mice, but he loves the Frog Mini Links. I also have a Solomon Island Ground Boa who eats them as well. I've never had any snakes refuse their sausage. Would recommend to anyone with a difficult eater.
